I love your colors, wow! The design is so cute, too. Great work!! The asymmetrical outfit is awesome.

Awww, thank you so much! >^<
Outfit been slowly changing but still the same signature colors :>
Awe this is so cute I love them <3
They can't even keep a single thought in their head for even a minute (˙◁˙) Thank you!
You should use this kind of coloring more often. I have no idea what the technical terms are, but the dreamy ethereal look is super cool.
The concept and pose are awesome, too. The posters worked out perfectly.
Revisited: I forgot to say how adorable the faces are! They're so cute they make me crazy! I have to praise the anatomy details as well, she is solidly drawn. This piece is beautiful, and I'd be happy to have it on an actual poster!
Edit: Your memory is sharp! I removed that part of my comment because I felt like it might be too nit-picky when I liked the full image so much. As for alternative coloring, I don't know lol
Thanks! I'd love to experiment more with a similar rendering style / palettes in the future. I find setting a hue shift and trying to convey the same colors in a new environment interesting (as an exercise).
(As for the blue chest shadows - that's actually just an early stage artifact I decided to keep. It's certainly not the best shade, but I remember not being able to find any replacements back when I was still working on it. Guess I looked at this piece long enough so the blues actually started to make sense. Like it looked wrong with any other color lol)
Super cute! The apple cheesecake or whatever that is looks delicious. Artists aren't supposed to draw men though so uh you're banned sorry
thanks!! that's an apple rabbit slice cake, but seems like a cute dessert feature couldn't save me from man-drawing consequences :^( oh well
The little Miku is to die for, OMG.
These are great, awesome use of color with a variety of poses. The Dryad is breaking my heart, I wish she felt like the girls to the right of her, but the contrast is effective for art. They should just hug the Dryad.
Revisited: I've realized that this is basically a showcase of your greatest strengths! Expression, gesture, shading and coloring! I was so distracted by Miku and the Dryad originally that I didn't appreciate how cohesive these images are as a package, showing off what you can do!
thank you! it was inspired by Miku's cheerful nendoroid. one of her faceplates has this really similar ultra happy expressions that I wanted to capture <3
wanting someone to be happy is valid, but letting them process whatever they're feeling is equally important (nerd emoji?)
I think you did very well for not knowing what you were doing! You can probably just copy wet skin for fleshy textures and copy wet fish for scaled textures as references. The mermaid in Monster Musume has a thin layer of mucus all over that isn't visible, as one example of this type of thing.
guess I just need more practice in general. maybe I should go for mermay this year!
speaking of examples.. I still have all of the images I used here, saved for later studies (or it's just an unhealthy attachment to gathered refs, who knows).. and what I find quite funny is that most of them are pictures from various make-up ads with women straight up covered in honey. so every time I'm rummaging through my PureRef file, I think how questionable it probably looks out of context xd
The form is accurate to soda tabs, it's just that we almost never see them without the context of being attached to aluminum cans. Because of that, I don't know what you could even do to make it more obvious. I did think it was a zipper at first sight, lol!
The posing is really cute, and I especially like the hair being held in her hand. There's a cute and soft vibe to this whole illustration that I really adore. I like the gloss on the shell, too!
yeah, that's what I thought too. you just fail to recognize it as something other than a regular zipper because an overall shape is so similar (especially since some people actually use soda tabs as DIY zipper replacements xd). I believe I could smooth out edges a little bit to make it more tab-like. additional width could also help..
tbh I just wanted to have something for scale. to show that it is in fact just a regular sized shell on a tiny character (not their canon size, but I was going for a feeling)
She looks so cool. The wind animation is awesome, great style, great pixel lines, great coloring, love it.
Thank you so much!
I thought the watermark was hit markers for a second. Too much Marvel Rivals...
Sick art though. The sword effect is particularly awesome.
Thank you!! I wonder what font Marvel Rivals uses?
Some of my watermarks use Adversary from Blambot which is one of the mian sources that comic letterer's use. This one's the open font "Outfit".
There's a chance Rivals could be inspired by/ be using the same fonts.
Sick art! I dig the style. I can't wait to play the game again.
thank u!! :D
I love art! Show me yours?
